Vive le Roi

And so the new era begun. The inauguration of Barak Obama as a President was truly an event on an unprecedented scale. Pilgrimages from all over the United States, millions of people in Washington and en route the famous “Linclon train”. A bit much, perhaps. Could be seen as in bad taste by others – but that’s the way America often acts; a big child, noisy and colorful, full of pageantry. On the other hand – the magnitude of possible changes and the amount of good will toward this president from his own countrymen and from people all over the world is something to behold. Le Roi est mort; Vive le Roi!
Not with a single grain of sadness toward the “dead king” – good riddance.
